The Successful Scrimmage #WednesdayWebinar Series Is Set To Continue In 2020
Minneapolis, MN – Scrimmage continues its live #WednesdayWebinar series with the latest episode, Engaging Virtual Teams: Successful Collaborations & Celebrations, featuring Kassy LaBorie on Wednesday, January 29th, at 2pm ET | 1pm CT | 11am PT. Nate Kahl, VP of Client Experience for Scrimmage, will moderate. Registration is required; please click here.
For the first episode of 2020, Scrimmage is honored to welcome back Author, Virtual Learning Expert & Industry Speaker, Kassy LaBorie. As a follow-up to her extremely popular webinar last summer, Kassy is set to flip the classroom again, share more new ideas and highlight the latest tools to create a successful virtual learning experience to truly engage remote team(s).
Managing virtual teams is especially relevant – and challenging - in our industry. Training Industry recently reported that remote teams are expected to make up 50% of the workforce this year, according to Citrix Systems. The rise is due to the proven benefits of decreased costs, increased productivity and lower turnover rates.
However, it is the challenges that make Kassy’s webinar so timely and pertinent, as she addresses the various fault lines currently in communication and collaboration, for both the manager and the remote worker.
By the end of this webinar, Kassy will have showcased innovative ways to align and empower everyone, so that attendees have the ideas and tools to:
- Identify the leading practices and technologies for successfully creating collaboration in virtual meetings, including brainstorming and team visioning.
- Create strong team bonds using virtual parties and fun celebrations, such as birthdays, achievements, milestones and promotions.
- Outline the features and steps involved to create productive, effective collaborative meetings.
“Kassy always brings fun, new ideas to her webinars and workshops,” notes Nate Kahl. “I’m glad she's back, as everyone not only learned a lot, but it was also an exciting, collaborative spirit among all of our attendees. Talk about engagement!”

As a sneak peek, our next #WednesdayWebinar episode will feature Tiffany Prince, internationally-renowned author, speaker, coach and consultant in the leadership realm. She will be joining our series on March 11, 2020 with the topic, Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Work - Adapt Now!
