Scrimmage CEO, Derek Lundsten, Named A LTEN 2017 Member Of The Year
Minneapolis, MN - The Life Sciences Trainers & Educators Network (LTEN) have announced the winners of its 3rd Annual LTEN Excellence Awards, honoring best-in-class learning and development initiatives within the life sciences, as well as recognizing the work of its members. Scrimmage’s Chief Executive Officer, Derek Lundsten, was the recipient of the LTEN 2017 Member Of The Year Award. It is in recognition of his support, philanthropy and vision in promoting the LTEN mission, inside and outside of the member community, on a global basis.
“Without dedicated members and volunteers, LTEN could not support the growth of the organization and its members,” said Dawn Brehm, LTEN executive director. “And, Derek is extremely deserving of this year’s Member Of The Year Award.”
“I am truly humbled by this recognition,” notes Lundsten. “I feel honored to work with the LTEN organization, my fellow peers on the Advisory Council, as well as the member base, as a whole. I also have to credit the Scrimmage team for inspiring me everyday with their ideas, dedication and constant belief that anything is possible.”
Scrimmage was also a 2017 LTEN Excellence Award Finalist in the Innovation category. This recognition was based on a broad mobile integration project with Gilead. Together, a Learning Center with one touchpoint on any device, anywhere in the world was created for its breadth of enterprise systems and applications.
"It’s an honor to recognize the best and the brightest training people, programs and providers with the LTEN Excellence Awards," Brehm adds. "We had a record number of entrants in this year’s awards program, and our judges had a tough task of selecting winners and finalists from so many worthy nominees. LTEN congratulates everyone involved this year for providing such quality work, support, innovation and excellence to their companies and clients.”
The Excellence Awards is the premier awards program in the United States recognizing innovation and leadership within the life sciences training and development community. The judging panel for the 2017 awards was comprised of experienced professionals and thought leaders in the field.
This year’s winners were formally recognized June 7th in Nashville, in conjunction with the 46th LTEN Annual Conference (www.LTENconference.com), the largest gathering of life science trainers and educators in the United States.
