Scrimmage Receives Two Finalist Nods For LTEN’s 5th Annual Excellence Awards
Minneapolis, MN – The finalists for the 5th Annual LTEN [Life Sciences Trainers & Educators Network] Excellence Awards have been announced with Scrimmage receiving an astounding two nods. The awards recognize the work of global life sciences training professionals at primary market companies (“practitioners”) and by training supplier companies (“providers”).
Along with our client, Radius Health, Scrimmage is named a Finalist in the Innovation category – a category Scrimmage won last year. Central to the nominated practice, Radius solely utilized Scrimmage’s gamification tools and mobile learning platform to simultaneously drive its new product training, as well as onboard 250+ sales reps. It proved to be so popular among the learners, as well as identified key skills gaps, that it became the vehicle for continuous training.
A second nod has also come in the Partnership category. Scrimmage and its client, Lundbeck, partnered to create a March Madness knowledge challenge game for its Neurology sales reps across the US. The Scrimmage Client Services team flawlessly structured and implemented the game for an astounding 99.9% engagement that also produced eye-opening results, transforming its training for the remainder of the year. This pivot ultimately saved the company countless monies in potential lost revenues, while also retaining its top talent.
The awards are presented and sponsored by the Life Sciences Trainers & Educators Network (LTEN), the world’s largest professional association organization. A panel of life sciences training leaders served as judges for seven highly-competitive categories.
“Our expert judges had their work cut out for them this year,” said Dawn Brehm, Executive Director of LTEN. “This year’s awards competition saw nearly twice as many entries as previous years, plus the quality of the nominees was phenomenal, making judging a very difficult task. Still, our judges came up with an impressive list of finalists, and it’s an honor to recognize their game-changing work.”
“I couldn’t be more proud of the Scrimmage Team for continuing to push the envelope on both our technology offerings, as well as the on-going client care across all departments,” notes CEO, Derek Lundsten. “I also acknowledge the work of our partners and their inspired ideas to bring such new, engaging and effective training strategies to their learners.”
The LTEN Excellence Award winners will be announced on June 5th during the 48th LTEN Annual Conference, June 3-6, 2019, in Grapevine, TX. (https://www.ltenconference.com)
