Derek Lundsten, CEO of Scrimmage, a state-of-the-art mobile learning technology firm, has been named to the Advisory Council of The Life Sciences Trainers & Educators Network (LTEN). The Advisory Council is tapped to support the organization’s Board of Directors with further insights, ideas and initiatives for LTEN’s operations.
“As an organization that has been going strong for over 45 years,” Lundsten reflects, “LTEN continues to be at the forefront of advocating invaluable learning philosophies, programs and mechanisms for the life sciences industry. Likewise, their ability to create a genuine camaraderie among all members is a true testament to its longevity and its amazing team. I feel extremely honored to join the Council and help support the organization’s excellent endeavors.”
The Advisory Council consists of training leaders and educators from various life sciences organizations and corporations, as well as a spectrum of learning providers that offer input on programming, events and other structural operations. The members, as business leaders, contribute perspectives from their own organizations, the field, as well as their day-to-day interactions with learners and managers.
“As a member since 2011, Derek will be a great addition to the LTEN Advisory Council,” mentions Dawn Brehm, Executive Director of LTEN. “He has an impressive record of leading organizations, helping clients meet objectives and working to develop talent in his organization, in life sciences and in his community. I know he’ll bring a lot of value to the Advisory Council.”
