This is a full time, salaried position with benefits and performance bonus
Location
Position is based out of Scrimmage’s Minneapolis, MN or Princeton New Jersey office unless other remote arrangements are made. 60% of travel is expected, though certain times may be more or less based on client needs
Purpose
As an Account Manager at Scrimmage, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Account Management consists of a focus in expanding the footprint and use of our products and services within assigned accounts. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure demands and key metrics are identified and that a timely and successful delivery of our solutions are met according to customer needs. You will analyze and resolve client queries and execute mobile app platform implementations through managing workload and delegating tasks primarily with clients that are leveraging our app platforms, designed for the iPad and smart devices.  These projects would include custom eLearning courses, device-enabled sales meetings, product launches and learning management systems.

Account Management

Serve as the interface between Client Services and the Sales team to create long term relationships with the assigned portfolio of clients.

Understand the customer's demands, plan how to meet these demands, and generate sales for the company as a result.

Identify account growth opportunities within client base to ensure growth attainment, retain a client-account-manager relationship and track/manage these opportunities within Salesforce.com Meet targets assigned by management to achieve profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.

Understand all product capabilities and services, and effectively communicate all offerings to the client by proactively recommend products or services to clients to meet their existing and future business needs.

Collaborate with clients and management to identify and deliver key metrics for product effectiveness and ROI within each account

Proactively manage project costs, deliverables, timelines, and feasibility.

Communicate with customers, management, sales team, marketing and project team in a consistent, informative and organized manner.

Report and escalate to management as needed to ensure client retention.


Project Management

Anticipate project risks as well as customer needs or concerns and ensure projects are planned and executed in a way that exceeds client expectations.

Lead the services team to a successful execution of mobile app platform implementations through managing workload and delegating tasks.

Establish platform best practices to promote platform diversity and usability.

Work with both client and technical staff to understand problems and resolve them creatively.

Keep the team focused on meeting its objectives within the agreed timeframe.

Stay current on all product features, both through company sponsored training initiatives and self-guided training.

Contribute to the advancement of the Scrimmage suite of applications based on client feedback and creative thought.

Academic Requirements

Essential - High School Diploma

Desirable - Bachelors Degree in related field and commensurate work experience

Desirable – Account Management Experience

Experience

Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships.

Take charge personality with a strong ability to build, influence, lead and motivate effective teams towards end results.

Solid knowledge of project management activities, deliverables and processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Aptitude for sales.

Ability to juggle many tasks at once.

High comfort level with detailed data.

Superior time management skills.

Excellent listening, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable presenting to and working with executive level audiences is a must.

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including conflict management as appropriate.

Ability to listen to a client business need and respond consultatively with an appropriate solution. Very detail oriented and organized in all aspects of their work specifically in proactive project planning.

Effective team player who enjoys working hard and having fun; flexibility to operate in a fast-paced, growing, entrepreneurial environment.

Must have a strong work ethic and passion for continuous improvement.

Strong comfort level utilizing mobile technology, including iPhone / iPad.
